This annual Golf Fore the Hungry spectacular combines great food, fun music, auction and golf to support a very worthy cause - HUNGER! Fighting hunger, battling disease and teaching self sustenance, all in the name of Jesus Christ, is the mission of our two charitable designations. All proceeds benefit Food for the Hungry, an international relief agency, as well as God's Pantry Food Bank, which for the past 50 years has provided food for the needy throughout Central & Eastern Kentucky.

In 2004, the inaugural event raised $17,000. The highlight included a hole-in-one on the 186-yard par 3 No. 8 by Tom Broadus which won him a new Toyota Camry from Toyota on Nicholasville.

In 2005, $25,829 was raised and for the first time a very successful dinner/auction was held the night before the golf event. A field of 132 golfers then took to the Marriott Golf Course to cap the festivities.

The event was moved to the Cherry Blossom Golf Golf & Country Club in 2006 and we had a full field of 144 golfers. A total of $38,558 was raised.

Due to the event's substantial growth, Golf Fore the Hungry was moved to the University Club of Kentucky in 2007. The 36 hole course was utilized to create more opportunities to participate and faster play. The field of 170 golfers enjoyed a great afternoon and helped us to be able to disperse $29,000.00. This brought our four year total raised to over $110,000.00.
